Lone Star Research, a division of Lone Star Services, LLC, is committed to providing high-quality tools and chemicals to support scientific research and discovery. By accessing this website, creating an account, or purchasing any products from Lone Star Research, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, including all policies referenced herein.

Limited Customer Base

Lone Star Research exclusively sells products to research laboratories or authorized representatives of such laboratories (collectively referred to as “Labs”). The Company does not sell products directly to patients, consumers, or individuals not affiliated with an accredited research facility. Any attempt to access, purchase, or use products by unauthorized individuals or entities is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms and Conditions. Labs must comply with the Research Use and Confidentiality Agreement, Privacy Policy, Refunds or Cancellation Policy, and Shipping Policy as part of the purchasing process.

Agreement to Terms and Conditions

By accessing this website, creating an account, or purchasing any products from Lonestar Research, Labs acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

  1. Products will be used exclusively for in vitro research applications.
  2. Labs comply with all local jurisdictional requirements, including accreditation where applicable, and assume full responsibility for ensuring compliance.
  3. Lonestar Research does not provide products intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  4. Products are not drugs, medications, or pharmaceutical preparations as defined under U.S. law.
  5. Lonestar Research is not a compounding pharmacy or chemical compounding facility under Sections 503A or 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
  6. Statements made by Lonestar Research or its representatives have not been evaluated by the FDA.
  7. Full liability is accepted for the use and handling of the products, including compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  8. The terms and existence of this Agreement are to remain confidential.
  9. Failure to comply with RUO restrictions constitutes a material breach of this Agreement, subject to penalties and termination of service.
  10. The entirety of this Agreement, including all definitions and referenced sections, has been read, understood, and accepted.

By proceeding with any activity on this site, Labs affirm agreement to these terms and acknowledge the binding nature of this Agreement.

Definitions

  1. Company: Refers to Lone Star Services, LLC, doing business as Lonestar Research.
  2. Lab: Refers to any individual or entity purchasing products from the Company or using the website.
  3. Products: Includes all items sold by Lonestar Research, which are labeled as “Research Use Only.”
  4. Research Use Only (RUO): Indicates that products are intended solely for in vitro research and are not for diagnostic, therapeutic, clinical, or human or animal use.

Research Use Only (RUO) Restrictions

  1. Products sold by Lonestar Research are labeled as “For Research Use Only (RUO)” and are not intended for human or veterinary use.1.1 Products are designed exclusively for in vitro studies and laboratory research purposes and are not approved by the FDA or any other regulatory authority.1.2 Labs are prohibited from using products for diagnostic, therapeutic, medical applications, or human or veterinary consumption.1.3 Communication expressing interest in improper use, including human ingestion, will result in immediate termination of service and denial of future purchases.1.4 Violations of these terms are subject to penalties, termination of service, and legal action.
  2. Labs agree to review and comply with the Research Use and Confidentiality Agreement, Privacy Policy, Refunds or Cancellation Policy, and Shipping Policy, all of which form part of these Terms and Conditions.

Purchases and Orders

  1. Eligibility: Labs must be at least 18 years old and authorized to purchase research chemicals.
  2. Order Acceptance: Orders are not binding until confirmed by Lonestar Research.
  3. Payment Terms: Payment in full is required before shipment.
  4. Pricing: Prices are subject to change without notice. Additional charges for taxes, shipping, or handling may apply.

Shipping and Delivery

  1. Products are shipped within specified timeframes, subject to the Shipping Policy.
  2. Temperature-sensitive items are packed in controlled environments to maintain stability during transit.
  3. Labs are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. Delays or damages caused by incorrect information are the responsibility of Lab.
  4. Shipping restrictions may apply based on location. Lab must ensure compliance with all local regulations.

Returns and Refunds

  1. Returns are accepted only for unopened, unused products within 30 days of purchase, subject to the Refunds or Cancellation Policy.
  2. Temperature-sensitive items are non-returnable under any circumstances.
  3. Labs are responsible for return shipping fees unless the return is due to an error by Lonestar Research.
  4. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receipt of the returned product.

Product Handling and Safety

  1. Labs must follow all applicable safety protocols, including the use of protective gear and proper ventilation.
  2. Lonestar Research provides Safety Data Sheets (SDS) upon request.
  3. Labs assume all responsibility for safe handling, storage, and disposal of products in accordance with applicable laws.

  1. Labs are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits regarding the purchase, storage, and use of products.
  2. Products may be subject to export controls. Labs agree not to export or resell products in violation of such laws.
